Francesco Varoli's work experience includes:

- Junior ESG Data Scientist at Robeco, starting in June 2021.

- Data Science Intern at SmartHelio, where they utilized AI and data analysis techniques to provide diagnostic and prescriptive information to PV plant owners. This included forecasting irradiance and power production of solar plants. Francesco worked from September 2020 to June 2021.

- Master Thesis Project at the Computational Science Lab ETH Zurich, where they conceptualized and developed a Reinforcement Learning algorithm using Neural Processes and Experience Replay. The mathematical model was designed from scratch and implemented in PyTorch. Francesco worked from September 2019 to June 2020.

- Internship at F&P Personal Robotics, where they worked on high-level Python scripts and low-level ROS integration to improve the interaction skills of an assistance mobile robot. This involved object manipulation, speech recognition, and visual detection of faces and objects. Francesco worked from February 2019 to August 2019.

Francesco Varoli's education history includes completing a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2014 to 2017. Francesco then pursued a Master's degree in Robotics, Systems and Control at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, they attended the EURA Winter School at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
