Darren Murray is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Røa 2 Head-Coach and First-Team Coach at Røa IL since January 2024, where responsibilities include planning, implementation, and evaluation of training activities. Previously, Darren held various coaching roles at Morecambe Football Club from August 2021 to December 2023, including Youth Development Phase Lead-Coach focused on U12-U16 age groups and serving as U14 and U15 Head-Coach. Additional experience includes teaching roles such as Alternative Provision Supply PE Teacher with Tradewind Recruitment and BTEC Sport Tutor with LifeSkills. Darren's coaching career features significant positions with the Football Association of Ireland and Cork City FC, including assistant and head coaching roles across various youth and women’s teams. Academic qualifications include a Master’s in Football Coaching & Analysis from the Global Institute of Sport and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from The University of Bolton.
