Matt Garbis is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Ro since March 2023, Garbis previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at H1. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer and Software Development Engineer at Amazon from July 2018 to March 2022, as well as Senior Software Engineer and Developer at Unified. Additional experience includes a tenure as a Volunteer Instructor at Code Nation, a Full Stack Engineer at weeSpring, Inc., and freelance work as a Full-Stack Software/Web Developer. Early career highlights include roles as a Wealth Management Analyst and Intern at YellowWood Financial Advisors, coupled with academic achievements in Quantitative Studies for Finance and Computer Science at Columbia University, following a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
