Sam Ackerman is an experienced media professional with extensive expertise in content creation, strategic communications, and sports journalism. Currently serving as a Content Specialist at ackermerc and as Content Director at The Big Idea I Te Ariā Nui since March 2020, Sam Ackerman manages client relationships, oversees content development, and implements strategic direction across various platforms. Previous roles include Sports Commentator for Radio New Zealand and Radio Show Host at Trackside radio, alongside experience as a producer and consultant in multiple media firms. Sam Ackerman holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Auckland University of Technology and has contributed to the New Zealand Rugby League as a board member for the League 4 Life Foundation and to the Halberg Disability Sport Foundation as an awards judge.
