Dan Jepson has a diverse work experience. Starting as a Software Development Consultant at Sony Music Entertainment in 2009, they progressed to become a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Sony Electronics in 2011. After that, they took on the role of Senior Platform Architect in Mobile and Wearable Computing at Intel Corporation in 2014. In 2017, they transitioned to HP as a 3D Software Designer before joining RMS as a Senior Principal Software Engineer in 2018 and eventually moving up to the position of Senior Director of Software Engineering within the same company in 2023.

Dan Jepson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Math & Computer Science from Purdue University. Dan furthered their education by earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.
