Mitun Chakravarty has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Mitun is currently serving as the Director of IT at RMIT Training since 2021. In their previous role at RMIT University, they worked as the Deputy Director IT, where they played a crucial role in the migration of IT infrastructure to Azure cloud solution. Mitun also served as a Development Manager and Development Team Lead during their tenure at RMIT University.

Prior to their work at RMIT, Mitun worked as a Web Application Developer at Synapse IT Consultants Pty Ltd from 2007 to 2010. Mitun also had experience working at AMERICAN SYSTEMS as a Senior Developer from 2002 to 2006, and at Marsons Pvt Ltd as a Senior Developer from 2000 to 2002.

Mitun Chakravarty attended Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree with a specialization in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Mitun Chakravarty also obtained several certifications. In 2016, they became an AgilePM® Practitioner through APMG International. In 2014, they became a PRINCE2® Registered Practitioner, also through APMG International. In 2012, they obtained an ITIL Foundation Certificate from APM Group.
