Catherine Vargas, BSN, CCRN, has extensive experience in pediatric nursing and critical care. Currently serving as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children since July 2019, Catherine is adept in managing patients requiring advanced interventions such as ECMO and ventilators, as well as medication management and monitoring for resuscitation efforts. In addition, Catherine has worked as a Post Anesthesia Care Nurse with Reproductive Medicine Associates since June 2021, focusing on direct patient care and pain management, and also served as an Adjunct Professor at Gwinnett Technical Institute, where guidance was provided to nursing students. Previous roles include working as a Level III NICU Registered Nurse at Orlando Health and as an Advanced Clinical Technician in the Pediatric Emergency Room at Orlando Health, where skills in patient assessments, medication administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration were developed. Catherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Chamberlain University and a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medical from the University of Central Florida.
