Matthew Ball has worked in the software engineering field since 2002. Matthew began their career at Rockland International as a Software Engineer. In 2008, they moved to Datamark as a Software Engineer II. In 2010, they joined ThomasArts as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2011, they joined Progrexion as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2016, they worked as a Contractor at Younique Products and as a Software Architect at SalesRabbit, Inc. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at RizePoint.

Matthew Ball attended the College of Eastern Utah from 1999 to 2001, studying Computer Science.
