Mohammed Hussain's work experience includes various roles at Riyad Bank and Cooperative Insurance Consultancy Co. Ltd. At Riyad Bank, they started as an Assistant Manager - Operations Specialist in August 2004 and later became a Manager- Operations Specialist. In May 2015, they acted as the acting regional head of trade finance for the western region, and in December 2015, they became the VP regional head of trade finance. In 2020, they were appointed as the SVP trade finance head and also briefly served as the SVP trade finance country head. Prior to Riyad Bank, Mohammed worked as a Computer Operator at Cooperative Insurance Consultancy Co. Ltd from January 1995 to January 1997.

Mohammed Hussain completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at Arab Academy For Science And Technology (AAST) in 2004. Mohammed then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Total Quality Management (TQM) from New Horizons Training Center, a program they attended from 1994 to 2012. Additionally, Mohammed Hussain also completed a Master of Quality degree in Management at Arab Academy For Science And Technology (AAST), which they attended from 2004 to 2007.
