Jamil Barakat is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in banking IT operations. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at Riyad Bank since November 2020, Jamil is managing technology operations and playing a key role in the bank's transformation program. Prior to this, Jamil worked as AGM IT-Operations at Samba Financial Group, overseeing a large IT production division comprising three departments and managing a team of 200 staff. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Director of IT-Production at Al Rajhi Bank and Head of Telecoms Department at Arab National Bank. Jamil holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, earned from 1993 to 1998.
