Erica Carsouw has extensive experience in the field of healthcare and social work, currently serving as Functionaris Zorgtoeleiding en Informatie at RIWIS Zorg & Welzijn since August 2002, focusing on the Youth & Family cluster after several years in the adult sector. Prior to this role, Erica worked as an ambulant begeleider, providing supportive guidance to clients with complex psychiatric issues in their home settings. Earlier experience includes a position as a psychiatric nurse at Gelre ziekenhuizen from 1991 to 2002, where Erica assisted individuals experiencing their first hospital admissions for psychiatric care. Erica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, as well as various certifications in psychiatric nursing, marketing, communication, and child abuse and domestic violence awareness.
