René Timmers has extensive work experience in the finance industry. René began their career at KPMG in 1997 as a Trainee and worked their way up to Supervisor, Manager, and eventually Senior Manager. In 2012, they joined Riwal Holding Group as Group Controller and later served as the Chief Financial Officer. Riwal is a major international equipment rental company with operations in multiple countries. René Timmers has been instrumental in managing the company's finances and overseeing its growth.

René Timmers attended Tilburg University from 1997 to 2001, where they studied to become a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Radboud University.
