Christopher Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christopher is currently working as an Engineer at Rivos Inc. since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Apple as an Engineer from September 2013 to October 2021. Christopher has also worked at Calxeda, Inc. as a Physical Design Engineer from July 2012 to September 2013. From July 2006 to July 2012, they were employed at AMD as an MTS Design Engineer. Christopher started their career at AMD as a Co-op Engineer, working for various durations in 2005 and from January to August 2004. Before that, they worked as a Programmer at Equitable Resources from May 2002 to August 2003. Christopher gained experience as a Student Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they worked at the H&SS Help Center from February to May 2002 and at the Computing Services Help Center from July 2001 to January 2002. Additionally, they worked as a Research Systems Programmer at Carnegie Mellon University from July to September 2000.

Christopher Thomas attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Christopher then pursued further education at the same university from 2005 to 2006 and obtained a Master's degree in the same field.
