Shengjin (Joe) Zhou is a distinguished engineer with extensive experience in software development for autonomous systems. Currently at Rivian since November 2020, Zhou leads middleware and simulation for autonomy, overseeing multiple teams and spearheading significant projects, including the design of in-house middleware for AI accelerators. Previously, at Baidu USA, Zhou managed a cross-site software team and contributed to the development of the HW3.0 autonomous driving platform. Prior experience includes senior roles at Marvell Semiconductor, where Zhou specialized in U-boot and Linux kernel development, and at Cambridge Industries Group, focusing on embedded system software development. Zhou holds both BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
