Prior experience includes senior management positions at X, the moonshot factory, and Tesla Motors Inc., where Frey focused on powertrain systems and charging infrastructure. Earlier career roles spanned design and engineering across several organizations, including Stone Turtle Design and IDEO. Frey holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Product Design from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
