Kyle Durfee is a Senior Engineer at Rivian, focusing on special projects since June 2023. Prior to this, Kyle was a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Meta from June 2018 to June 2023, where responsibilities included the architecture and design of custom AR accelerators, leading design teams, and collaborating on hardware/software co-design. From August 2014 to June 2018, Kyle served as an ASIC/FPGA Design Engineer at NVIDIA, concentrating on high-speed link designs and FPGA-based testing. Earlier experience includes research assistance at Stanford University in machine learning architectures, teaching assistance at Brown University, and internships at Intel Corporation and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, as well as a hardware/software internship at Bay Computer Associates. Kyle holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Brown University.
