Joshua Williams has extensive experience in the medical field. Joshua currently serves as the Medical Director at the Jacksonville Fire Department. Prior to this, they held the position of Emergency Department Medical Director at Riverview Regional Medical Center and Medical Director at AMED Ambulance Inc. Joshua has also served as an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
Joshua Williams attended the American University of Antigua College of Medicine from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine - MD degree. Following that, they completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2014 to 2017, specifically in Huntsville. Joshua then pursued an Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Huntsville Hospital from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their medical education, Joshua Williams attended Chamberlain University from 2009 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's in Science of Nursing. Joshua also pursued an Associate's Degree in Applied Science of Nursing at Gadsden State Community College from 2002 to 2004.
