Dr. Christian Behrens serves as General Counsel at Riverty BiF DACH and has held various roles within the company since August 2012, including Vice President Corporate Legal and Director Corporate Legal, focusing on corporate law. Additionally, Dr. Behrens is a board member for both FENCA and BDIU Bundesverband Deutscher Inkasso-Unternehmen e.V. Previous legal experience includes positions at MELCHERS Rechtsanwälte and Simmons & Simmons, as well as work with Ernst & Young in global financial services tax. Dr. Behrens holds a Doctorate in Private International Law from The University of Freiburg and has foundational education in law from multiple institutions, including Uppsala University and Heidelberg University.
