Dr Zoe Wyrko has extensive work experience in the healthcare sector. Dr Zoe currently holds the position of Well-being Director at Riverstone, starting in March 2021. Dr Zoe previously worked as a Visiting Professor at Aston University from June 2019 to February 2023. Dr Wyrko also served as a Board Trustee at Orchestra of the Swan from February 2021 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Special Advisor on Older People at Birmingham and Solihull STP from January 2018 to March 2021.
From January 2010 to March 2021, Dr Zoe Wyrko worked as a Consultant Physician at University Hospital Birmingham. During this time, they also held the positions of Assistant Medical Director and Associate Medical Director. As Assistant Medical Director, they worked on partnerships and integrated care for complex adults across a large population. Dr Zoe also has experience working at Solihull Together as SRO Integrated Decision Hub from June 2016 to September 2019. Additionally, they served as Vice President for Workforce at the British Geriatrics Society from June 2017 to January 2019. Dr Wyrko began their career in the NHS as a Specialist Registrar in Geriatric Medicine from January 2005 to January 2010.
Dr Zoe Wyrko earned their MBChB degree in Medicine from the University of Birmingham from 1995 to 2000. Dr Zoe later pursued a MMedSci degree in Geriatric Medicine from Keele University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to their university education, they attended Northampton High School from 1983 to 1994.
