Mike Nelson currently serves as the Director of Agronomy at Mapleton Golf Club since August 2024. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Golf Course Superintendent at Blue Top Ridge Golf Club at Riverside Casino and Golf Resort from April 2006 to August 2024, and at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club from May 1998 to April 2006. Mike began a career in golf course management as an Assistant Superintendent at Rush Creek Golf Club from May 1994 to April 1998. Mike Nelson earned an Associate of Arts degree in Turf and Turfgrass Management from Anoka Technical College.
