Alan Featherstone Tech IOSH is an experienced professional in health and safety management, currently serving as the Group Health and Safety Manager and Group Health and Safety Officer at RiverRidge since March 2021. Prior to this role, Alan worked as a Health and Safety Consultant at A F Technical Services from April 2017 to March 2021. Alan's extensive career also includes a significant tenure at JTI (Japan Tobacco International) from June 1995 to March 2017 as a Technical Lead, where responsibilities included supporting craft members with machinery issues and implementing performance improvements. Alan began a career in the electrical field at MICHELIN TYRE PLC, completing a four-year electrical apprenticeship and subsequently working as a maintenance electrician for another four years. Alan’s foundational education was completed at Ballee High School.
