Katherine Gendron is an experienced athletic professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Coaching and Operations and the Director of Athletic Training and Safety at Riverdale Country School since January 2014. Responsibilities include medical coverage during practices and games, development of injury rehabilitation and prevention programs, and administration of injury documentation. Katherine has a diverse background, having worked as an Athletic Coordinator, Assistant Athletic Trainer, and Middle School Girls Basketball Coach, along with being a Personal Trainer focused on strength training and injury prevention. Prior roles include Exercise Physiologist at Manhattan Sports Medicine and Sports Medicine Columnist at Double G Sports. Katherine began their career as an Athletic Training Student at the University of Connecticut, where Katherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2011.
