Benoit Lafon is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the finance and IT sectors. Serving as the Chief Technology Officer at RiverBank S.A. since February 2017, Benoit has contributed to the company's mission of financing Small and Medium Enterprises in the Benelux and Germany, particularly following the acquisition of a full European Banking License. As the Founder and CTO of THEORIX since June 2004, Benoit has provided IT consultancy in development, database design, system architecture, and IT security. Additionally, Benoit has been the Chief Technology Officer at Areza since May 2000, where expertise in professional Internet solutions and content management has been developed. Prior experience includes serving as an IT Project Manager at BNP Paribas from August 1993 to May 2000, where Benoit managed projects on a Swaps trading system and various operational systems. Benoit holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Paris XII.
