Donna Agius has a diverse work experience. Donna started their career in 2013 as a Student Representative at the Faculty of ICT. In 2014 and 2015, they worked as a Student Placement Programme at the Ministry for Family & Social Solidarity. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at KPMG Crimsonwing as an Analyst Programmer and Programmer. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Big Data Engineer at Cerberus Technology and as a Big Data Engineer at River Tech plc, where their roles included working with Datawarehouse, ETL processes, NiFi, Redshift, SQL, Kafka, KSQL, and Kafka connect.

Donna Agius has a comprehensive educational background. Donna attended St George Preca Girls Junior Lyceum from 2007 to 2011, followed by the University of Malta Junior College from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Matriculation Certificate in Computing and Pure Mathematics. Donna then attended the University of Malta from 2013 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence. Donna continued their studies at the University of Malta from 2016 to 2018 and earned a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. Donna Agius has also obtained three additional certifications from Microsoft, including MS: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8 Development Introduction, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, and MS: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 CU8 Installation and Configuration.
