Kithmy Wickramasinghe is an accomplished individual currently serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at River Road Rescue Squad since April 2022. Kithmy is an active member of Rutgers University Competitive Programming and has held multiple roles at The Daily Targum, including Editor in Chief/CEO, Associate News Editor, News Correspondent, and Contributing Writer from September 2020 to February 2024. In addition, Kithmy was recognized as a Grace Hopper Student Scholar by AnitaB.org in 2022 and worked as a Medical Assistant at Radhakrishna Pediatric Group, providing vital patient care and technical support. Kithmy also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, focusing on molecular biology under Dr. Anat Kreimer. Kithmy is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, set to graduate in May 2024, after completing a high school diploma at The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering in 2020.
