Roman Ornik is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Director at Rivean Capital since December 2015. Prior to this role, Roman Ornik worked as an Analyst in the Investment Banking Department at UBS Investment Bank from June 2012 to August 2013, following an internship at the same institution in late 2011. Roman Ornik holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance and Accounting from the University of St.Gallen, obtained between 2013 and 2015, and has completed various executive education programs, including Negotiation at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2019, and a Visiting Ph.D. Scholar program at Columbia Business School in 2015. Roman Ornik also earned a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of St.Gallen (2010-2012), as well as exchange programs at Nottingham University Business School and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, covering topics such as Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, and International Finance. Roman Ornik completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Graz from 2007 to 2009.
