Bernard Rocklage

Head Of Global R&d / Leiter F&e at Ritter Sport

Bernard Rocklage has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Bernard is currently serving as the Head of Global R&D at Ritter Sport since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a lecturer at FOM Hochschule für Oekonomie & Management since September 2017. From July 2018 to July 2020, they were the Engineering and Technology Manager at Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG. Bernard also worked at Mondelēz International from July 2012 to 2018 as Process Technology Europe, and at Kraft Foods Deutschland from November 2008 to August 2012 as Chocolate Technology Applications. Bernard has also held roles at Kraft Foods R&D and Kraft Jacobs Suchard, where they worked in various positions including Section Manager, Project Manager, and Quality Management.

Bernard Rocklage has a strong educational background with a focus on engineering and fluid dynamics. Bernard obtained a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau/Verfahrenstechnik from Ruhr University Bochum in 1991. Following this, they furthered their education by completing a Post-Graduate Program in Supersonic Flow Modelling at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in 1992. Later on, they achieved a Promotion zum Dr.-Ing. in Thermo- und Fluiddynamik from Ruhr University Bochum in 1997. These educational achievements demonstrate their expertise and knowledge in the fields of engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
