Dave Steffes has over two decades of experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Senior Estimator at Ritsema Associates since January 2002. In this role, Dave prepares budgets, quantity take-offs, and proposals for a wide range of projects while collaborating with project superintendents on various aspects of project management. Dave has also played a crucial role in establishing the flooring department in the Traverse City market and has extensive experience in performing quantity takeoffs and project start-ups for commercial projects. Prior experience includes positions as a Surveyor Assistant at Mid Michigan Engineering, Field Technician at Mears Group, Inc., Laborer/Carpenter Apprentice at Alta Construction, and Field Technician at Mears Group, Inc. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Ferris State University, earned between 1997 and 2001.
