Sara Everts began their work experience in 1990 as an Office Manager at Cahners Publishing. Sara then transitioned to a role as an Advertising Services Manager at Kalmbach Publishing Co. in 1991. In 2013, they joined Rite-Hite as the Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications, and later became the Director of Corporate Communications.
Sara Everts attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh from 1986 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Business Administration.
