Khan Farooq's work experience begins in 2008 as a Senior Sales Manager at Next, where they supervised the stockroom and delegated duties to over 15 employees. In 2012, they became a Sales Executive at MEM Consumer Finance Ltd, selling payday loans and focusing on customer service and feedback.
In 2014, Khan joined TripAdvisor as a Sales Executive, responsible for territory account management and coaching a team of 9 employees. Khan later transitioned to the role of Renewals Account Manager, where they focused on consultative sales and customer retention strategies.
In 2019, Khan joined Viator as a Senior Business Development Manager, responsible for managing the pipeline, negotiating terms, and selling the SaaS Bokun interface to suppliers in the experience industry. Khan then joined Castellan Solutions in 2020 as a Business Development Representative and later became a Senior Business Development Specialist, working with their web-based platform for managing business continuity management activities.
Most recently, Khan joined Riskonnect, Inc. in 2022 as a Senior Business Development Executive.
Khan Farooq holds a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Middlesex University, where they achieved a 2:1 honor. In addition, they have obtained a certification as an Outreach Prospecting Specialist from Outreach in January 2022.
