Ben Alexander has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

Ben currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Riskhub since March 2022. Prior to this, Ben held the same role at Funding Xchange from January 2021 to February 2022. During their time at Funding Xchange, they were responsible for technology, product, and delivery, working with banks and alternative finance providers to facilitate SMEs' access to finance. Ben successfully launched a new product and deployed three new APIs into production.

Before joining Funding Xchange, Ben worked as the Director of Technology at the same company from February 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they were responsible for technology, including engineering, QA, IT, and DevOps. Ben played a crucial role in rearchitecting compute and security, increasing availability and resilience, and enabling easier deployment of APIs and completion of due diligence questionnaires.

Prior to their tenure at Funding Xchange, Ben held various positions at Experian, starting as a Database Developer in October 2009 and eventually becoming the Head of Data Engineering. During their tenure, they led the data engineering professional community, established the framework for professional communities, and took charge of learning and development. Ben managed non-client data, oversaw the development of multi-terabyte distributed databases, and played a pivotal role in defining the technical strategy and future development plans for the business.

Before joining Experian, Ben worked as an Investment Analyst at Neville James Ltd from April 2007 to September 2009. In addition to their primary role, they also engaged in additional work for the legal department and served as the initial point of contact for all sales activity. Ben developed and tested a new method for valuing the fund's policies.

Ben Alexander attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Physics.
