MacKenzie Grow, MPH has a diverse work experience in the public health field. In their most recent role at Community Health Councils (CHC), MacKenzie serves as the Director of Learning for Equity, overseeing the development and implementation of learning modules aimed at addressing systemic and institutional racism. Prior to this position, MacKenzie held roles as the Assistant Director and Manager of Learning for Equity at CHC, where they collaborated with Pacific Oaks College to design and deliver curriculum for workshops, strengthening the capacity of students in systems-change and political advocacy work. MacKenzie also worked as an Executive Assistant and Project Administrator at CHC. In addition, MacKenzie has experience as a Research Assistant and Special Assistant at The Woodshaw, working on a docuseries about pregnancy experiences for Black individuals in the US. They also served as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. Earlier in their career, MacKenzie worked as a Treatment Counselor at Oswego County Opportunities, Inc., and as a Dangerous Goods Agent at FedEx Express.

MacKenzie Grow, MPH completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Community Health Sciences from UCLA in the years 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the State University of New York at Oswego from 2015 to 2018. MacKenzie'sbachelor's degree focused on Gender and Women's Studies, as well as Health Science.
