Ryan Plantz's work experience includes a variety of roles in the education field. Ryan most recently worked at RiseUp Community School, starting in 2015. Ryan'sroles at RiseUp included Humanities Instructor & ELD Coordinator, Multilingual Education Admin & Humanities Instructor, and currently, they serve as the Director of Postsecondary Readiness & Multilingual Education Admin.

Prior to their time at RiseUp Community School, Ryan worked as an AP U.S. History Teacher at Manor High School from 2013 to 2015. Ryan also taught Economics, World History, and AP World History at Manor High School. Additionally, Ryan served as the LITE (Leader in Innovative Technology Education) at Manor H.S.
