Maria J C. Hernandez is an experienced professional in both engineering and the food service industry. Currently serving as a Laboratory Analyst at RISE since January 2023, Maria previously worked as a Deli Crew member at Publix Super Markets and as a Prepared Food Team Member at Whole Foods Market. Prior roles include Field Inspector at Briggs Engineering & Testing, Cashier at The Home Depot, and Project Manager for consortium STE-Dynatest and the Institute of Roads Cape Verde. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Central University of Las Villas, Cuba, and furthered education at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineer of Lisbon.
