Jean-Paul Vandeputte has worked as a Director of Engineering at RISE Engineering since 2011. Prior to that, they held various roles at Thielsch Engineering, including Senior Energy Engineer from 2010 to 2011, Lead Energy Engineer from 2008 to 2010, and Energy Engineering Intern in 2008. In their positions at Thielsch Engineering, they conducted direct consultation for utility energy efficiency programs and calculated energy savings for various efficiency measures.

Jean-Paul Vandeputte completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island from 2004 to 2008. Jean-Paul then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Engineering Management from Kettering University, which they completed between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, Jean-Paul obtained several professional engineer certifications: MA Professional Engineer - Mechanical from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in June 2014, NH Professional Engineer - Mechanical from the State of New Hampshire in June 2014, and RI Professional Engineer - Mechanical from the Rhode Island State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers in March 2013.
