Karen Smaha Ross is a seasoned logistics professional with extensive experience in global shipping and supply chain management. Currently serving as the Global Logistics Manager at Rise Against Hunger since February 2014, Karen oversees the shipping arrangements for 20 US-based warehouses and manages partnerships with 30 distribution organizations worldwide. Previous experience includes roles at Peace Corps as an Education Development Specialist, where Karen contributed to public health education, and as Customer Service Manager at Southern Cal Transport, Inc., handling customer relations for a large account base. Karen also has a background in education, having worked as an After School Enrichment Coordinator and Preschool Teacher. Karen holds a Master's degree in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Athens State University and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of Montevallo.
