Roy Sassun is an experienced professional in the data science field, currently serving as the Data Science Team Lead at Rise since September 2024. Prior to this role, Roy held positions as Research Team Lead and Data Science Researcher at Pagaya Investments from September 2019 to September 2024. Roy's earlier experience includes working as a QA Automation Engineer at CEVA-DSP from December 2017 to September 2019, and as a Teaching Assistant at Tel Aviv University from September 2016 to February 2018, along with a role as Docente a contratto at Yoel Geva during the same time frame. Roy holds a Master of Science in Operational Research and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both from Tel Aviv University, with degrees obtained in 2018 and 2015, respectively.
