Prior to 2Wire, Daniel worked as a Network Engineer at Global Crossing from December 1999 to March 2002. In this role, they processed customer trouble tickets, monitored network status, performed system maintenance, and investigated network failures.

Daniel Cwiklik pursued their education in the field of technology and computer science. From 1995 to 1996, they attended DeVry University to study Information Technology. After that, they enrolled at Arizona State University from 1996 to 1998 to focus on Computer Science. Apart from their formal education, Daniel obtained a certification in CCNA from Cisco in January 2001.
