Patrick Banta has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Patrick is currently the President/Co-Founder of Riptide Messaging since January 2019, where they focus on improving customer loyalty for brands that rely on small businesses. Prior to this, Patrick founded and served as the CEO/President of San Francisco Automotive Solutions, a company dedicated to providing automotive services with a focus on customer satisfaction, since January 1991. From January 2008 to December 2018, they were the CEO/President/Founder of HITCH Inc, a company that aimed to provide unique insights and a better work environment for employees. Earlier in their career, Patrick held the position of Director of Operations at MV Transportation from December 1989 to December 1991, where they were responsible for overseeing customer service, operations, and financial results for multiple locations. Patrick also worked as a Technical Lead Technician at General Motors from June 1985 to December 1989 and as a Technician at BMW Group from January 1982 to June 1985.

Patrick Banta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University, Lam Family College of Business. Patrick completed this degree between 1984 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate Degree in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from Skyline College, which they completed from 1981 to 1983. Patrick also holds several additional certifications, including one from the State of California Bureau Of Automotive Repair, which they obtained in December 1984, and an ASE Master Technician certification from the Automotive Service Association, which they obtained in July 1983.
