David Ikenna Adams serves as the Product Lead for Global Payments at Rippling, focusing on international money movement and fund flows for global businesses. David is the Founder of IF Then Ventures, assisting companies in navigating complex regulatory environments and building compliant products. Previously, David co-founded String, a payments API for Web 3 applications, and held leadership roles at Ponto, where initial payments programs were developed, and Eaze, where payment and banking operations were led in a challenging regulatory landscape. David's legal experience includes serving as an Investigations and Litigation Associate at Latham & Watkins, managing cross-border investigations, and founding Adit Financial, a fintech solution for compliant cannabis industries. David holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication from the University of California, Davis.
