Brooke Rufo-Hill has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Brooke is currently the Head of People and Culture at Rippleworks since March 2022. Brooke also served as the Head of Employee Experience at Carta, where they led the Carta Experience Team and was responsible for learning and development, people programs, and real estate and workplace strategies.
Brooke has also worked as an HR + Learning Consultant at gothamCulture, where they developed and implemented a global sales learning strategy for a major Bay Area technology company. Brooke was the Global Director of Talent Development + Learning at KATERRA, where they built and managed the talent development function and team. At Authentic Leadership for Women, they co-founded and worked as a leadership coach, designing retreats and providing leadership coaching to senior-level women leaders.
Brooke has also worked in the public sector as an HR Strategic Advisor for Performance Management at the City of Seattle, where they led the design and implementation of performance management systems and facilitated leadership development programs. Additionally, they served as the Director of CLA Leadership at Seattle University, where they founded and ran the Contemplative Leaders in Action program.
Earlier in their career, Brooke worked as an Education Manager at Agros International, where they oversaw educational programs and training, and as a Professional Development Specialist at YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish.

Additionally, they obtained a certification as an ICF Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation in 2017.
