Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in collaborative solution development. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in creating hardware for innovative DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies, where Chris developed firmware and diagnostic tools, and serving as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on educational device design and repair. Additional experience includes working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris developed control systems for forestry equipment, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
