Richard Pearson is an experienced underwriter with a strong background in managing and underwriting insurance portfolios across various sectors. Currently serving as a Product Underwriter at Ripe Thinking Limited since August 2022, Richard previously held the role of Trading Underwriter at UK General Insurance, where responsibilities included portfolio management, regulatory compliance, and development of business relationships. Richard's extensive career at Direct Line Group spanned nearly 16 years, culminating in the role of Technical Underwriting Manager, where oversight included complex underwriting decisions and team management. Richard holds a degree in Human Biology from Leeds Metropolitan University.
