James Taylor has a strong work history, primarily in the creative and marketing fields. James started their career as an Art Director at Mastermind Media in 1993, where they worked until 1995. James then moved to the Financial Times as a Senior Creative Director from 1995 to 1997. In 1998, they joined Rip Curl as a Senior Art Director and later took on the role of Global Creative Director Marketing from 2004 to 2006. James then became the Global Creative Director at Rip Curl until February 2022, when they transitioned to their current role as Head of Brand Marketing.
James Taylor attended Scotch Oakburn College from 1986 to 1991. James then went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from ACPAC from 1992 to 1994.
