Kendra Winchester is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in the publishing and education fields. As the founder of Read Appalachia since August 2020, Kendra has been instrumental in promoting regional literature. Additionally, contributions to Book Riot, including roles as a contributing editor and senior contributor, showcase expertise in literary discussions. Freelance work includes copyediting and ghostwriting, as well as managing a professional website and blog. Kendra co-founded and served as executive director for Reading Women from March 2016 to January 2022, launching a podcast centered on literature by women. Past roles also include community management at Litsy and an editorial internship at Ambassador International. Kendra holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Bob Jones University.
