Valerie Langlois is an accomplished professional with over two decades of experience in the aluminum industry, currently serving as HSE General Manager for Atlantic Operations at Rio Tinto since June 2000. Valerie has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including positions as Chef de service Securité des procédés-Aluminium, Cons. Princ. Securité Procedes, and Directeur adjoint for the Aluminerie Arvida. Previous experience includes serving as Plant Metallurgist at Xstrata Copper's Horne Smelter. Valerie holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Université Laval, attained between 1993 and 1997.
