Sam Ellis is a Principal Consultant at Fortescue Metals Group since January 2021, where leadership and architectural skills are applied in a big data exploration project on Azure. Previously, at Empired Ltd, Sam specialized in developing a mining digital-twin solution using agile methodologies. Experience also includes roles as a Senior Developer at Cash Converters, Rio Tinto, and Bankwest, where Sam contributed to various innovative solutions in areas such as loan origination and cloud-native platforms. Sam was the Managing Director of Ruskin Ellis Ltd from 2013 to 2018, providing consultancy and development services to a range of clients. Education includes a degree from the University of Cambridge and attendance at Ryde School.
