Nomonde Mzelemu has extensive experience in finance and treasury management, currently serving as the Manager of Structured & Project Finance at Rio Tinto since October 2017. Prior to this role, Nomonde worked as Treasurer at Richards Bay Minerals from June 2011 to October 2017, where core responsibilities included liquidity management, refinancing facilities, and compliance controls. Nomonde also contributed as Treasury Manager at Mettle Property Solutions from October 2008 to March 2011, establishing the treasury function and managing financial risks. Previous experience includes training as an ADP Candidate at Total, where a comprehensive understanding of treasury functions was gained, and serving as an HR Accountant with a focus on payroll and cash flow management. Nomonde holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a BCom Honours in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of South Africa, respectively.
