Nadia Romani is a seasoned professional in the metallurgical engineering field, currently serving as the Director of Industrialisation at Rio Tinto's RTA Atlantic division since January 2018, with previous roles including Principal Advisor Processing and Metallurgical Engineer. Nadia has substantial experience in academia, having led projects at McGill University from September 2020 to April 2022 as a Project Team Lead for the Process Design course, as well as serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Chemical Engineering Department from September 2010 to April 2017. Prior to their current role, Nadia worked for nearly 15 years as a Senior Process Engineer/Metallurgist at Hatch, where involvement in diverse projects spanned various stages of development. Nadia holds a Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from McGill University, along with a course completion in Business and Climate Change from the University of Cambridge's Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
