Katie Jackson currently serves as President of National Grid Ventures since July 2023 and as Chair of POWERful Women since May 2022. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Jackson held significant roles at Shell, including Executive Vice President for Acquisition & Divestment and New Business Development, as well as Executive Vice President for Commercial & New Business Development until July 2023. Previous positions include Executive Vice President for Global Strategy and Business Development at BG Group, SVP at Statoil, and various leadership roles at Anadarko Petroleum and UBS. Jackson's career began at Shell as a Drilling Engineer after earning a Master of Arts in Pure & Applied Biology from the University of Oxford from 1991 to 1994. Currently, Jackson also serves as a Non Executive Director at IMI since July 2018.
